Rob Reger’s latest oil paintings put a spotlight on Emily, her cats, and a myriad of strange beasts that actually lock into one another in an Escherian way where every negative space magically becomes another character! Longtime collectors of Reger’s past work will see this show as a true fusion between his Emily graphic design sensibilities and his love for abstract surrealist painting. |
Buzz Parker’s new paintings are his exploration into Emily’s secret garden, and the imaginative creepy plants and creatures that lurk therein. |
Emily the Strange has become renown throughout the globe as an individualistic, clever and unique brand of clothing and accessories. Beyond fashion, the character is the subject of a quarterly comic book from Dark Horse Comics, 4 hardbound Graphic Novels by Chronicle Books, and a feature film with 20th Century Fox in the works. |
