Ladies and Gentlemen, step in a little closer because you are about to see the most wondrous sights your eyes have ever beheld. It's strange...it's amazing...and it's all alive on the inside!

Wonderful World Art Gallery (WWA) and Cosmic Debris are proud to announce Carnival of the Strange: Highlighting Original Works of Emily the Strange by Rob Reger and Buzz Parker. The exhibition will showcase original artwork by these creative forces behind the world's most intriguing 13 year old girl – the international cult phenomenon, Emily the Strange.

The "Carnival of the Strange" opening will feature a spectacular three ring celebration of Emily-inspired carnie fare. Prepare to be amazed by the side show display of "strange" original works. Emily the Strange is a fiercely independent thirteen year-old girl with gothic charm. She has experienced a huge underground following as the adolescent antihero, and has recently reached pop-icon status on an international level. She has grown from a few sticker and t-shirt designs to a worldwide line of merchandise, books, comics and feature film currently in the works with 20th Century Fox.

A big top opening for the original artwork of Emily the Strange will take place on October 26, and Carnival of the Strange will be on display through December 22nd.

Rob Reger is the founder, owner, creative director, and president of Emily the Strange and Cosmic Debris- his design house based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Rob is the author of 4 graphic novellas published by Chronicle Books. He has been designing Emily for over 13 years and remains one of her primary artists.

Buzz Parker is the head illustrator for Emily the Strange comic books and lead designer for EmilyStrange.com. He has been working exclusively on Emily since 1998 on projects including her illustrated book series, deck of playing cards, and fine art line of original paintings and prints – a background passion both he and Reger share as core Emily art forms.
