BERKELEY, CA – JULY 22, 2008: Experience the weird, wild world of Emily the Strange with Rob Reger, the brains behind the beloved cult icon, at [Comic-Con International 2008 in San Diego. Publishing leader Dark Horse Comics proudly presents unexpected happenings, exciting news and an all-around fun Emily experience at a special panel presentation. The presentation will be held at 12:30 pm, Sunday July 27, in Room 2 at the San Diego Convention Center. |
The event will feature a best-of-Emily mixed-media presentation, with seldom-seen celebrity and designer nods to everyone’s favorite odd girl. Attendees will get a sneak peek at the new Emily video game and get a taste of what’s happening with the upcoming Emily movie, which will be produced by Mike Richardson, Dark Horse Comics’ founder and producer of Hellboy II: The Golden Army, 30 Days of Night, Hellboy, The Mask and other blockbuster films. You’ll also hear news on the 2009 HarperCollins Emily novel series. In addition, the festivities will include a question-and-answer session, some cool giveaways, and other exciting surprises.
